Introduction
I am an Associate Professor/Public Services Librarian at the Olin Library. I received my MSLIS from Florida State University. I also have a MA in Latin American Studies from the University of New Mexico and a BA in History and Spanish from Knox College, Galesburg, IL.
My research focus is on library space usage and how usage contributes to student learning. I edited a book on this topic titled Assessing Library Space for Learning. We have a copy in Olin if you are interested!
I enjoy learning about the amazing research our students do for their classes and enjoy working one-on-one to help locate quality resources. My liaison departments include Education, Political Science, Modern Languages, Physical Education and Latin American and Caribbean Studies.
Currently I serve as the Director for the Latin American & Caribbean Studies (LACS) program. Please contact me if you are interested in learning more.
You can find more about the LACS program on our website
